Founded in March 2001 by a group of 17 people, Cooperativa Bio Azórica – Produtos de Agricultura Biológica C.R.L., has as its main objective the encouragement of “the production and consumption of organic products, respecting the Environment and thus promoting the conservation of Nature and biodiversity, through the integrated, durable and rational use of natural resources” (Article 3 of the Cooperative Statutes).
